This raku-fired vessel captures the dynamic interplay of fire and atmosphere. During reduction, copper-rich areas deepened into warm, metallic tones, while sections exposed to oxygen developed a vibrant, mottled green surface. The result is a richly varied finish that reflects the unpredictability and beauty of the raku process. Organic leaf-shaped cutouts wrap around the form, introducing light, movement, and a connection to the natural world. Both sculptural and functional, the piece evokes growth, transformation, and the quiet rhythm of nature.
